Small route of the hermitages
Height Max./min: | positive/negative difference | Km. | estimated Time | season | Observations |
668/491 | 250/250 | 3 | 2h. | Any season is good, since when the path goes through the forest the temperatures are not usually extreme. | You need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and water. You can bring something to eat, and if it has rained in previous days it will be advisable to bring a waterproof jacket. |
A very good option for those looking to get to know the history and surroundings of Cardó in a short time.
This route will take us to see six of the hermitages that are scattered in the valley. One of them, Santa Agnes, is one of the most unknown, as the path that leads to it was rediscovered and restored not long ago.
And we won’t finish the excursion without visiting Cardó’s most emblematic hermitage, the Ermita de la Columna, located almost in balance at the top of a seemingly impregnable spire.
