Discovering spring on the Ebro
Little by little, the trees awaken from their long winter sleep. Their leaves take advantage of the warmer temperatures to start peeking out. The river gradually fills with life and colour. The Ebro in spring seems to be reborn: birds sing, the riverbanks bloom, and after every meander we find a new spectacle of nature. The sound of paddling blends with the songs of birds looking for someone to share their nest with. Do you feel like experiencing it?
In spring, the Ebro is a river full of life that deserves to be paddled. The increasingly warm atmosphere invites a calm paddle that will help us enjoy a reborn green landscape. It is easy to see busy birds flying from one side to another, singing or diving into the water. It is a special time to enjoy the river, now that the temperature is more pleasant.
Halfway along the route, we will share a breakfast with hot drinks: freshly made coffee, herbal teas, and both sweet and savoury snacks to regain energy before continuing to Móra. A great opportunity to experience the river at one of its best times of the year. Don’t miss it!
Approximate schedule:
The activity will take place on April 19.
- 9:30 am – Meeting at the Vinebre jetty. Equipment distribution and briefing.
- 10:00 am – Everyone on the water. The route begins.
- 11:00 am – Arrival in Garcia, where a hot snack will be waiting: coffee or herbal teas to drink and something to eat.
- 12:30 pm – Arrival in Móra.
The schedule is approximate and may vary depending on conditions..
Conditions for Participation
- We recommend having paddled a kayak at least once before. In any case, besides the initial explanation, there will be at least one kayak guide accompanying the group to answer questions and ensure your safety.
- It is necessary to know how to swim or at least be able to stay afloat in the water. The rental includes a life jacket, which must be worn during the route.
- You can choose between a single or double kayak.

Price: €30 per person (€25 for children aged 9–13)
