Garcia-Móra

You can move the map freely.

Duration 1 hour. a short but intense and unknown route, where you can enjoy of the calmness of the river Siurana’s mouth, the Garcia’s bridge, the Molineres’ cliffs… but mostly the Sovarrec’s island, a natural and protected area, totally unspoilt. It’s an area that will transport you to another world. The vegetation surrounds you, the songs of the birds escort you and the water takes you. Also, if you get lucky, you will be able to see wild boars that go down to the river in order to drink. Definitely, this is one of the most beautiful and recommendable areas of the Ebre.

... and after the activity

GARCIA

Visit Santa Magdalena, a peculiar hermitage built in a rock, under a cave cold a balma.

You can also walk to the highest point of the town and discover the bad effects caused by the Ebre’s battle at the Església vella de Garcia (Old Garcia’s church), that was a witness of the civil war.

MÓRA D’EBRE

Visit el Castell de Móra (Móra’s castle), of an Arabic origin, reconquered by Ramon Berenguer IV, and thereafter given away to Baronia d’Entença.

It is located on the top of the village, and it’s the perfect place to have a panoramic view of the river, of Móra d’Ebre and of a Ribera d’Ebre’s part.
